BFF

Two of the people I respect most in the world are working on a feature film they have built from the ground up called “Best Friends Forever.” It’s this absolutely amazing tale of two best friends who travel across country ignorant to the fact that the apocalypse is happening. Oh yeah and these friends just happen to be ladies! Never have I encountered a script like this. One that isn’t afraid to show the complexities of this generation’s women without making them super lame caricatures or forcing love interests upon them. Have you ever realized that in most films women can’t discover their identities unless faced with romantic love? Blahblah blah blah! None of that nonsense here! Instead BFF uses adventure, violence, tragedy, comedy, death, and ultimately the power of friendship to uncover oneself in this new world.
